Understand brands, designs, assets, and posts

Learn what Krevaya saves at each step, how brand views work, and why a design, an uploaded asset, and a scheduled post are different.

What each item is for

ItemPurposeWhere to work with it
BrandAn identity with its own voice, niche, colors, account routing, and publishing preferences.Brands and the brand switcher
IdeaAn angle to develop into content. An idea is not a scheduled post.Discover and Trending
DesignAn editable visual document containing pages and layers.Studio
AssetAn uploaded or generated image, video, or audio file you can reuse.Assets and Studio's Uploads
PostOne destination's copy, media, status, and publishing details.Review queue and Calendar

For example, one five-page design can become five library images and then a carousel post. The design's editable layers and the post's caption serve different purposes; check both before publishing.

Active brand and All brands

The brand switcher controls the identity you are working as. With multiple brands, All brands lets you review content across them, while new content still belongs to the active brand. All brands is a viewing option, not a destination for new content.

Switch to one brand before uploading media, changing voice settings, making a design, or choosing a publishing account. When something appears missing, check the current brand view before recreating it.

How a post reaches your audience

StateMeaning
DraftSaved for review; review it before approving.
ApprovedReady for the publishing queue, subject to the brand's mode and posting rules.
ScheduledAssigned a publishing time; automatic publishing still respects Off mode.
PublishingA send is in progress. Wait for the result before retrying.
PublishedThe destination accepted publication.
FailedA publish attempt failed. The error tells you what to fix.
RejectedRemoved from the active review flow; it can be approved again later.

Held is a pause explained on the post, such as a missing connection or a daily limit. It is different from a failed send.

Choose a starting point

  • Already have copy? Create → Post is the shortest path to a manual draft.
  • Need an angle? Start in Discover or Trending and draft an idea.
  • Need a visual? Start in Studio, customize the design, then use Post this design.
  • Have a published article or video? Use Krew to repurpose its link into drafts.
  • Building an integration? The API and MCP use the same brands, media, and publishing workflow; begin with the developer quickstart.

Creating content, approving content, and measuring results are separate steps. A successful generation or export does not mean a post has gone live.
