Connect social accounts and fix expired connections

Connect Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, TikTok, Pinterest, and other channels to the correct Krevaya brand.

Updated

Before connecting an account

Open Connections while signed in to the Krevaya account that owns the brand. You need permission on the destination itself: a Facebook Page role, access to the LinkedIn profile, or the equivalent channel credentials. After authorization, check the displayed account name and assign it to the right brand.

Connect the main social networks

DestinationConnection stepsCheck before posting
Facebook PagesChoose Connect via Meta, sign in, and allow the intended Pages.Personal profiles and Groups are not Facebook publishing destinations in Krevaya.
InstagramConnect the Business account linked to a Facebook Page through Meta. If shown, Instagram without a Facebook Page offers direct professional-account login.Direct login appears only when enabled. Read the limitations displayed on that connection.
ThreadsChoose Connect Threads and authorize the account separately from Facebook.Set an appropriate Threads daily limit for automatic slot-based posting.
LinkedInChoose Connect LinkedIn and approve access.Publishing targets a personal profile, not a company Page.
BlueskyCreate an app password in Bluesky, then enter the handle and app password in Connections.Use the app password, not the main account password.
TikTokChoose Connect TikTok and authorize the account. Each video needs its own privacy, interaction, and commercial-content choices.
PinterestChoose Connect Pinterest and authorize a business account.Choose a board and review the Pin details on each post.

Connect blogs, newsletters, communities, and messaging

Connections also includes Mastodon, Pixelfed, Tumblr, Dribbble, Vimeo, Telegram, Discord, Slack, LINE, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Mattermost, Lemmy, Discourse, Circle, Whop, WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to, Hashnode, Beehiiv, Buttondown, Kit, and Listmonk. Each card shows the fields its integration requires.

OAuth destinations send you to the provider to authorize. Credential-based destinations ask for an API key, application password, or token. Webhook destinations ask for the incoming webhook URL. Do not substitute a login password when the form asks for an application password or API key.

Use the blogs and newsletters or community and chat guides for the destination choices that must be made after connecting.

Reconnect without changing the destination

  1. Open Connections and read any Reconnect needed message.
  2. Authorize the same account again. For Facebook and linked Instagram accounts, use Reconnect / add pages and include the Page that owns the Instagram connection.
  3. Refresh the connection list and confirm the account identity. Recheck the brand assignment if you removed and recreated a connection.
  4. Return to Failed posts, correct any remaining issue, and use Retry publish. A repaired connection does not mean a failed post has already been resent.

Provider access can end after a password change, revoked permission, or security check. Some connections renew automatically; follow the reconnect warning rather than assuming every displayed token date requires manual action.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect Instagram without a Facebook Page?

If Connections shows Instagram without a Facebook Page, you can authorize an Instagram professional account directly. That option depends on server availability; the card lists any limitations of that login.

Why can I connect an account but still not publish?

A post may still need media, a destination such as a board or channel, explicit privacy settings, or renewed permissions. Read the hold or failure message on the post.
