Match the media to the destination
A platform's consumer app can support formats that its publishing API or Krevaya integration does not. Use the limits below for posts sent through Krevaya. Channel connection and review restrictions still apply.
| Channel | Supported media in Krevaya | Text without media |
|---|---|---|
| 1 image; 2–10 images/videos mixed in a carousel; 1 video Reel; 1 image or video Story | No | |
| Facebook Page | 1–10 images; 1 feed video; 1 image or video Story | Yes |
| Threads | 1 image; 2–20 images/videos mixed in a carousel; 1 video | Yes |
| 1 image or 2–20 images through MultiImage | Yes | |
| Bluesky | 1–4 images | Yes |
| TikTok | 1 video, with required review choices | No |
| 1 image or 1 video, with a board selected | No | |
| YouTube | 1 video; preview access required | No |
Plan carousels before exporting
Studio can edit and export up to 20 pages. That does not raise Instagram's 10-item publishing limit or Facebook's 10-image limit. An 11-page design is refused for those destinations; Krevaya does not silently drop the final page.
Post this design files every page in order and passes the full set to the composer. Two or more items become the appropriate multi-item format for the chosen destination. Facebook and Bluesky receive multi-photo posts; LinkedIn receives images through MultiImage, not a PDF document carousel.
Check Threads video files
Threads videos must be MP4 or MOV and no larger than 1 GB. Krevaya checks a maximum duration of 300 seconds and width of 1920 pixels when that metadata is available. A Studio export records these details; some imported or API-uploaded files may not include them, so the platform can still reject an invalid video at publication.
For a failed Threads video, read the platform processing error, verify the actual file's duration and dimensions, and export a compatible copy. Changing the caption will not fix an invalid duration or codec.
Other channels have their own delivery shape
- Mastodon and Pixelfed support up to four images or one video. Pixelfed requires media.
- Tumblr, Telegram, and Discord support image groups or a single video; each service has its own attachment restrictions.
- Slack sends a video as a link. Reddit's preview integration sends images and videos as link posts rather than native uploads.
- Dribbble uses one image fitted to a 4:3 shot. Vimeo requires a video.
- Blogs and newsletters place images in the article or email body. They are not social carousels.
Check each selected destination before scheduling a cross-channel campaign. A successful upload to Assets proves that Krevaya stored the file, not that every destination accepts it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule a 20-slide Instagram carousel with Krevaya?
No. Studio supports 20-page designs, but Instagram publishing through Krevaya allows up to 10 carousel items. Reduce the post to a supported set or download the design for a separate manual workflow.
Does Krevaya publish videos to LinkedIn and Bluesky?
The current LinkedIn and Bluesky integrations publish text and images. Video publishing on those channels is not supported by Krevaya's current adapters.
