What Krevaya sends through Pixelfed's official API, format by format. Available formats depend on your connected account.

Pictures

Up to four pictures, uploaded to your server; every post needs at least one.

Video

One video, uploaded to your server.

How do I connect Pixelfed to Krevaya?

Sign in on the platform. About a minute, once.

  1. Open Connections in Krevaya and type your server, like pixelfed.social.
  2. Krevaya registers itself as an app on that server the first time anyone connects from it, then sends you to the server's own authorization page.
  3. Allow Krevaya to post. You land back in Krevaya with the account listed as you@your.server.
  4. Write a post, or let Krevaya draft one, approve it in the review queue, and give it a time. It publishes on your Pixelfed server at that time.

What the review card asks for on Pixelfed

Every post is one card in the review queue. Besides the copy and the media, Pixelfed posts carry these choices, and a post missing a required one waits rather than guessing.

Choices on the card

  • Nothing beyond the copy and the media: approve and go.

Limits

  • Pixelfed has no text-only post: a caption always goes out with a picture.
  • Four pictures or one video per post.
