OpenAI dots + Krevaya

Schedule social media posts from OpenAI dots (always-on ChatGPT agents)

  • Hosted MCP server: add the URL, sign in, nothing to install
  • Draft, review, and schedule by asking, from your dot
  • Seven channels: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky

Krevaya is the review-first content workspace OpenAI dots drives through our hosted MCP server. Drafts wait for your approval; auto-publish is opt-in. Last updated October 2026.

OpenAI has not yet said whether custom MCP server plugins are offered to dots. If Krevaya is not listed under your dot's plugins after you add it to ChatGPT, dots cannot use it yet; ChatGPT itself can.

How do I connect Krevaya to OpenAI dots?

Add the server, sign in, and ask. OpenAI dots discovers the Krevaya tools you approved and calls them for you; nothing publishes until you approve it.

Add Krevaya to OpenAI dots

Use these values; OpenAI dots opens Krevaya's sign-in page and you choose what it may do.

Your dot
1 Add Krevaya to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server plugin (see the ChatGPT page)
2 chatgpt.com/dots → your dot → Customize → Plugins → Krevaya → Connect
3 Custom rules → turn on "Ask before taking action"

A dot uses the plugins connected in your ChatGPT account. The sign-in is the same Krevaya page ChatGPT opens.

Then just ask OpenAI dots

Once connected, OpenAI dots calls the Krevaya tools. Approved and scheduled posts publish on time, even after you close it.

Check my Krevaya queue, approve the drafts that sound like me, and schedule them for the best times.

Done. Three drafts approved and scheduled: Tue 9:00 AM, Thu 6:10 PM, Sat 10:30 AM. One draft rejected as too salesy, with the reason noted. Nothing has published yet; the scheduled posts go out at those times.via Krevaya · get_queue_summary, approve_post, reject_post, get_best_times, schedule_post

What is the Krevaya MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI assistants call real tools. Krevaya hosts a remote MCP server, so OpenAI dots gets your whole content pipeline as tools without a local process. Read more on the MCP page →

Good to know for OpenAI dots

The details that trip people up with this client, from our own testing.

  • Dots are rolling out gradually: Pro 100 and up outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Business Premium worldwide, Enterprise and Edu in beta.
  • The work a dot does on its own in the background is read-only; actions go through its rules, so keep “Ask before taking action” on and the review queue does the rest.

Frequently asked questions about OpenAI dots and Krevaya

How does Krevaya work with OpenAI dots?

Krevaya hosts a remote MCP server. Add it to OpenAI dots with the snippet on this page and OpenAI dots gets Krevaya's tools: list and triage drafts, create posts, draft a week, repurpose a link, design and edit video templates, schedule, and read results. Everything runs through the same review-first pipeline as the dashboard.

How do I connect Krevaya to OpenAI dots?

Add the server URL where OpenAI dots keeps its connectors and sign in when it asks. Krevaya opens a sign-in page where you choose what OpenAI dots may do. There is nothing to install and no key to copy; the server is hosted.

Do I need a paid plan?

MCP access is included on Krevaya's Plus plan ($29 per month) and up, with the same usage allowances as the rest of your account. OpenAI dots's own requirements are set by OpenAI, not by Krevaya.

Can OpenAI dots post while I'm away?

Only what you have approved. Drafts wait in the review queue; approved and scheduled posts publish at their time whether or not OpenAI dots is open. Auto-publish is opt-in per pipeline, and you can turn it back off any time.

Is it safe? Does OpenAI dots need my social media passwords?

No. OpenAI dots talks to Krevaya with a scoped token from the sign-in, and Krevaya publishes through each platform's official API with tokens encrypted at rest. A read-only connection cannot publish at all. Revoke it in one click under Settings → API keys and the connection is gone.

Which platforms can OpenAI dots post to?

Any channel connected to your Krevaya workspace: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook Pages, Threads, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. Available formats depend on the channel and your connected account.

OpenAI dots doesn't show the Krevaya tools. What should I check?

Three things: the URL is exactly https://api.krevaya.com/mcp, the sign-in finished (the connection is listed under Settings → API keys), and the scopes you approved cover what you are asking for, because tools are filtered per connection. For OpenAI dots specifically: Dots are rolling out gradually: Pro 100 and up outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Business Premium worldwide, Enterprise and Edu in beta.
